Cosine Wherry

Welcome to our new member of the family, a Cosine Wherry rowboat. Our new house in Portland is pretty close to the Willamette River so we think rowing this beauty around will be a lot of fun.

Aside from being easy to look at, it rows very well. A little wider and more stable than traditional whitehalls, it should be a good ride when we need to get out on the water. It’s got 3 rowing stations and is a little over 16 feet so it will be a nice boat to row with 2 people. Made of cedar strip planking with fiberglass coating both inside and out. …and it fits in the garage!
